Step One:
Locate and open My Computer. This is located inside your Start Menu. It may also be located on your desktop.
Step Two:
Select 'Map Network Drive' from the 'Tools' menu.
Step Three:
Click the 'Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server.' link.
Step Four:
Click the Next.
Step Five:
Click 'Choose another network location'. Click Next.
Step Six:
For the Internet or network address, enter ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com.au (replacing yourdomain.com.au with your own domain name). Click Next.
Step Seven:
Uncheck the 'Log on anonymously' box, and enter your admin username. Click Next.
Step Eight:
Enter a name for your site. This is for your reference only, when reconnecting. You can enter anything here. Click Next.
Step Nine:
Click Finish.
Step Ten:
Enter your username and password. Click Log On to connect. Drag and drop files to the public_html' folder to upload. Ensure that the first page you wish for your visitors to see on your website is named 'index.html', 'index.htm' or 'index.php'.
