Transmit for Mac OS X Mac
Step One:
Locate and open Transmit. This is located inside your Applications folder. It may also be located inside your dock at the bottom of the screen.
Step Two:
Enter your FTP details in the right-hand pane of the window.Replace yourdomain.com.au with your own domain name. Username and password are your admin username and password. Click Connect.
Step Three:
Browse to where your website is stored locally (on your own computer) in the left-hand pane ('your stuff'). Drag and drop files onto the right-hand pane ('their stuff') to upload. Ensure that the first page you wish for your visitors to see on your website is named 'index.html', 'index.htm' or 'index.php'.
