SmartFTP for Windows XP Windows
Step One:
Locate and open SmartFTP. This is located inside your Start Menu. It may also be located on your desktop, or in the QuickLaunch section of your taskbar.
Step Two:
Enter your FTP details in the connection pane of the window (under the toolbar). Replace yourdomain.com.au with your own domain name. Username and password are your admin username and password. Press Enter to connect.
Step Three:
Browse to the 'public_html' folder in the right-hand pane. Drag and drop files from Windows Explorer onto the right-hand pane to upload. Ensure that the first page you wish for your visitors to see on your website is named 'index.html', 'index.htm' or 'index.php'.
